2026 World Triathlon Congress

Date: Wednesday, 23 September 2026

Time: 10:30–17:00 CEST

Venue: Hotel Carlos I Silgar, Rúa de Vigo, 36960 Sanxenxo, Pontevedra, Spain

The invitation letters for a Visa application are issued by the Spanish Triathlon Federation.
You will need the following information in your form.

• Passport Photo
• Name and Surname
• Nationality and country of residence
• Date of Birth (day/month/year)
• Passport number and expiry date
• Arrival/Departure to/from Spain (date, times and where possible flight numbers)
• Role in the event (ie. Congress Delegate, NF President, NF Secretary General, etc.)

Please note that only a limited number of rooms are available. Remaining rooms will be released after 15 July 2026.

Complimentary airport transfers will be provided to and from Vigo Airport only. A booking link will be shared with registered Congress Delegates prior to the event.

World Triathlon will be holding elections at the XXXIX Congress for the following positions:

• One vacant position on the Legal and Constitution Committee
• One vacant position on the Technical Committee (one woman to be elected)

Nominations must be received by 9 August 2026. Member Federations must be in Good Standing to submit nominations or vote. For Good Standing queries, contact members@triathlon.org.
